Our story

Harvest Moon is a family-operated café in the Alle-Kiski valley. We started on Corbet Street in Tarentum and added a second shop on Union Avenue in Natrona Heights — a bakery, coffee shop, and small market for a neighborhood that didn't have one within walking distance.

We roast our own coffee. Small batches, in Tarentum, on the same beans we pour across the counter every morning. Nothing sits on a shelf waiting for someone to find it.

We make our own chocolate. Belgian and Swiss chocolate, worked by hand into bon-bons, ganaches, turtles, and clusters. It is slow work and it does not scale easily, which is rather the point.

We bake from most items from scratch. The bakery has become the thing people plan their morning around, and it grows a little every season.

What ties it together is not a trend. It is showing up early, making the same good thing the same good way, and being a place worth sitting down in. Your hometown coffee shop.
